Watchmen was a 3 hour disappointment. Before the film came to theaters, I remember seeing the trailer for the film about a dozen time; thinking this movie is going to be awesome. I never did get to see it in theaters, but I did buy it in a store, sight unseen, and when I finally watched it, which takes forever, when you almost immediately don’t like something; it turned out that the trailer was the best part of the film.

There were a few good scenes, but they were so spread out by time and boredom, they’re hardly worth remembering.

Presumed Innocent is a 1990 drama-mystery. It stars Harrison Ford as a district attorney and he has been accused of murdering a fellow attorney. The case takes a twist, as Ford is put in charge of finding the murderer, while all along, an unseen force is working behind the scenes to frame him for the murder. He’s eventually charged, and luckily, the key piece of evidence comes up missing- resulting in a mistrial.

The film has a cast full of recognizable names and faces, with a who done it suspense that last all the way up to the end – when the killer is finally revealed.

Hearts in Atlantis is one of the more popular drama-driven movies penned by Stephen King. As we all know, Stephen is a master of the horror genre, thanks to a gory childhood experience when he witnessed his best friend sucked by a train. But not everybody knows that Stephen King is also a master of drama vehicles like this one. One thing I love in Stephen King movies is that they are all starred by very capable actors. In this instance, it is starred by the legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins. This is actually a coming-of-age movie about a boy who will encounter life’s greatest challenges for the first time with the aid of Anthony Hopkins’s character. It does have a horror connotation to it since the boy will experience sad instances at the ending of the movie. It’s called Hearts in Atlantis for Anthony Hopkins’s character has the delusion that his neighborhood is utopian.
