Couples Retreat
Couples Retreat is loaded with recognizable celebs, but at the same time, it wasn’t equally loaded with genuine laughs. The film is about a couple, unable to conceive, talking their friends into going on a vacation, which turns out to be a couples therapy island. They can see the island they want to be on – the singles island, but are forbidden to go there.
The movie does have its moment, but that’s mostly due to Vince Vaughn’s talent with words. It’s a good rental – wouldn’t shell out the money to own it though.
It does have it’s moments, plenty of women in bikini’s, and some funny lines, but….
“We do not accept cash, but we will accept SMILE!”
