District 9
District 9 is a good sci fi film for those of you who like living with aliens. We saw this in the theater, then bought it when it came out on DVD. Something about watching it in the theater seemed to make it better. Watching it at home wasn’t the same experience.
The film starts out like a documentary, getting you caught up on what has happened, where the aliens came from and how they were quarantined into District 9, then the movie starts with the main actor being infected with a black fluid that is slowly transforming him into an alien, making him valuable to the human, since he can now operate their weapons – which are more advanced than our.
The cast is loaded with people you have never heard of. This doesn’t hurt the film since it is loaded with fight scenes, chases, drama, ad things you’ve never seen before.
