Prince of Persia is one of the latest films from Disney. It’s about a Persian Prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) that has been set up for killing the king and his father. He manages to escape death with the princess of the city they had just conquered and a Mystical Dagger. The Dagger he carries has the power to control time, but only for one minute. The source of the daggers power is this special sand that has been blessed by the gods, and to use the dagger you must constantly refill it with this sand.

While on the run and hiding, the Prince must figure out who killed his father and why. Also, he learns that their recent invasion into a nearby city was done under false pretenses and who ever killed the King is also after the Dagger.

Overall, it’s a really good movie — lots of action and comedic relief. Good film to rent or own.
